Paint Protection Film (PPF)
Installation Terms & Conditions (United Kingdom)
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Delta 1 Crew Ltd.
“Customer” refers to the vehicle owner or authorised representative.
“Vehicle” refers to the vehicle presented for installation.
“Services” refers to supply and installation of Paint Protection Film (PPF).
2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable booking deposit may be required to secure an appointment.
The remaining balance is due upon completion and before vehicle release.
Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received.
If materials have been ordered or pre-cut specifically for the vehicle, cancellation charges may apply.
Where bookings are made online or off-premises, cancellation rights apply in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
3. Vehicle Condition
The Customer must disclose any previous resprays, paint repairs, ceramic coatings, or bodywork damage.
Delta 1 Crew Ltd is not responsible for paint lifting on repainted or repaired panels, failure of non-OEM paintwork, or existing scratches, chips, or lacquer defects.
Any pre-existing damage may be documented prior to installation.
4. Installation Standards
All work will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Minor edge visibility, light surface texture, and small temporary bubbles may occur.
Full edge wrapping may not always be possible depending on panel design.
5. Warranty
The manufacturer’s warranty applies to the film itself (depending on film/brand variant) and may cover yellowing, cracking, or delamination.
Warranties do not cover stone chips penetrating the film, accidental damage, improper washing or pressure washing at edges, chemical damage, or track use unless agreed in writing.
Delta 1 Crew Ltd provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on installation.
All warranty claims must be inspected and approved in person.
6. Aftercare & Maintenance
Do not wash the vehicle for 5–7 days after installation.
Avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges.
Use pH-neutral shampoo only.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may void warranty.
7. Film Removal
Removal is generally safe on original paint.
Not liable for lifting on repainted or repaired panels.
Removal is chargeable unless warranty approved.
8. Limitation of Liability
PPF reduces risk but does not make the vehicle damage-proof.
Not liable for road damage, stone chips, environmental damage, or wear and tear.
9. Storage & Collection
Vehicles not collected within 48 hours may incur £50 per day storage charge.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
